Privacy at Agora
Privacy policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Agora is a digital fair for discovering, preparing, and experiencing live broadcasts. This policy explains what data we process and why.
Data we process
You can explore the Plaza without an Account. We use an anonymous Visitor identifier for the audiovisual session. Your Cart and reservations are linked to your Google Account.
When you choose to continue with Google, we receive the basic information you authorize, such as your name, email, picture, and account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
- Location, only when you choose to share it to find nearby stalls or confirm where a Live takes place.
- Camera and microphone when you broadcast a Live; photos when you choose to upload products or receipts.
- Questions, replies, and product photos you share publicly in the Live. Deposit receipts are private: only your Account and that Live’s seller can view them. The seller confirms the transfer.
- Opening a bag or reserving shares your Google name and email with that Live’s seller to arrange payment and delivery. You may add an optional WhatsApp number. The bag, its products, cancellation requests, and resolution remain in a private history for both of you.
- Baskets, variants, stock, Cart, Lives, and contact details you provide or generate while using Agora.
- Minimum security, operation, and diagnostic data, such as IP address, device, version, and error logs.
How we use data
We use it to recognize your Account, show stalls within the radius you select, preserve your Cart, prepare and broadcast Lives, control stock, protect the service, and resolve failures. Agora does not sell personal data or use it for personalized advertising.
The Web uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits, pages, and traffic sources, and Speed Insights to measure performance. We do not send question text, receipts, or Account data as custom events.
Services that help us operate
Agora uses infrastructure and distribution providers including Google Cloud and Firebase, Google Sign-In, LiveKit, Vercel, and Expo. They process data only to provide their services and under their own security and privacy terms.
Retention and security
We retain data as needed to provide Agora, preserve Live identity and history, meet legal obligations, and prevent abuse. Technical HLS broadcast segments are temporary and deleted automatically. We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and separation of secrets and environments.
Your choices and rights
You may deny location, camera, or microphone access; some features cannot work without the relevant permission. You may also sign out, revoke access from your Google Account, and request access, correction, or deletion of your data.
